Our Members

Local Tourism Associations (LTAs) and local councils are an integral part of the success of the region’s tourism industry. LTAs and their councils primarily focus on attracting visitors to their local area through marketing, product development, provision of visitor information centres and by working to improve local facilities.

Membership of a Hunter LTA or direct engagement between local councils and Tourism Hunter enables tourism operators in the Hunter to participate cooperatively in regional marketing initiatives in local, national and international markets.

The following LTAs are members of Tourism Hunter:

  • Lake Macquarie Tourism

  • Upper Hunter Country Tourism

Hunter Councils provides funding support to Tourism Hunter in its role as the regional association of all Hunter region councils.
